Multi Bets

Multi Betting

Multi Betting

A Multi bet allows you to combine many Fixed Odds selections into one bet, from a minimum of two, up to a maximum of 25. Each selection within a Multi bet is called a leg.

Standard Multi

The total odds for your Multi will be calculated by multiplying the odds of each individual leg. The more legs you include, the more you stand to win – which makes Multi bets more attractive and exciting than taking a number of Single bets.

You need all of your legs to be successful for a standard Multi bet to return a dividend.

Below, we will compare the dividends from making single bets, and a Multi bet on the same options.

Leg 1: $1.50
Leg 2: $2.00

If you placed a $10 bet on both Leg 1 and Leg 2 this would have a potential return of $35

Leg 1: $10 x $1.50 = $15
Leg 2: $10 x $2.00 = $20
Total Spend = $20
Total Return = $35
Total Profit = $15

However, if you took a $20 Multi across Leg 1 and Leg 2, this would have a potential return of $60

Leg 1 ($1.50) x Leg 2 ($2.00) = $3
$20 x $3 = $60
Total Spend = $20
Total Return = $60
Total Profit =$40

Standard Boxed Multi

A Boxed Multi is similar to a standard Multi, but it does not require all the legs to be successful to return a dividend.

They can cost more, while offering more chances to win.

You can take a Boxed Multi by entering the total amount you want to spend into the ‘Total Stake’ field next to the Multi of your liking. Alternatively, you can enter the stake you wish to spend on each combination in the Stake Per Combo field.

Pre-Packaged Box Multi

As well as our standard Boxed Multis you can choose to take one of our pre-packaged Boxed Multis.

Some of the more popular pre-packaged Multis include:

Percentage Betting

Percentage betting can be a more affordable way to increase your chance of winning big.

It allows you to pay a percentage of a full $1 unit, and in return receive a corresponding percentage of the final dividend.

Taking the percentage bet is particularly effective when placing a Boxed Multi (Any 2, Any 3, etc) as Boxed Multis are more expensive to take than a Straight Multi.

To take a percentage bet simply enter the stake you wish to bet in the Stake Per Combo field. For a percentage of the Multi, enter 0.75 for 75%, 0.10 for 10%, 0.05 for 5% and so on. Alternatively, you can enter the total amount you wish to spend in the Total Stake field and we'll automatically calculate the stake per combo for you.

Related Outcomes

A related outcome is where the outcome of one selection has a bearing on the outcome of another selection.

Selections that are considered to have a related outcome cannot be included within the same Multi bet.

For example, Head to Head and Points Start within the same match would be considered a related outcome as they are both directly linked to the final score of a match.

You’ll be unable to add a related outcome to your Multi bet, but you’re still able to take these bets individually.

Anchors

You can choose to anchor a selection by clicking the More Info & Options menu which is available in the betslip beneath all of your selections.

If you are confident on a selection and elect to anchor it in your Boxed Multi then all of your Any bets will contain this selection.

This will mean there will be fewer combinations in your Boxed Multi bet so the bet will now cost less to place or the stake per combination will be higher.
